i went through these steps with my carriers tech and it freed up my free bytes to around 8million or so...but a few days later...they were gone again. The only thing I have downloaded is the app world, and facebook. Other than that, I don't have anything extra. I deleted what I could, however on the advanced options section to delete unused apps...it doesn't list all the apps on my phone, so I was unable to delete all the ones I don't use. I deleted all my inbox and photos :-( and its back up 5million...I took the battery out and its back up to 8 mill. Any suggestions to keep the numbers up?

umm, you said the iphone cannot save pictures from the internet to make as your desktop or something. this is simply untrue. there are 2 ways you can do this on an iphone. eihter

a) press your finger down for about 5 seconds on a picture, and a little textbox comes up that says "save image" or "cancel"

b) hold the "home" button (the circle with the square in it) and the "snooze" button at the top at the same time, and it takes a screenshot, much the same as the print screen key on a computer would.

that being said, i recently sold my iBrick to some stupid sap for double what it cost me to buy a brand new pearl on the same carrier, and i've been playing with this phone alot more than i did when i first got the iphone. the iphone's features are cool for about half an hour, after you have the phone for a week, a month, whatever, its shortcomings really start getting to you. im glad i made the switch to the pearl. its the cutest, smallest, smartest, easiest to use smartphone out there.

sure will miss that iphone maps function though. completely blows blackberry maps away, unfortunately (check one for iphone, BBPearl wins 7-1) (-:

Unbelieveable! I couldn't get my iTunes playlists to update in the Roxio Media Manager, so I Googled for an answer. I came up with this, and it worked perfectly for my Curve 8900. Awesome!

Max, I'm on a Windows, but if it works the same...open up a Finder window and locate your BlackBerry. On my Windows, it shows up as a removeable drive (E:). Go there and open up the BlackBerry folder and go to Music. Then open up iTunes, go into a playlist, select the songs, and drag from iTunes into the Music folder.

I *never* would have considered trying this.

Could you tell me how to get "493" blackberry music files off my face book page? When I synchronized additional music files to my blackberry, apparently the same lists were sent again. I only have a total of 48 different songs. Is it somewhere on my laptop that it shows up on face book? Thank you!

Good article, cleared up some questions for me, but now I am stuck because the BB says it can't playback the iTunes files, which are "rights protected"! I paid for those songs, but apparently that doesn't give me the right to play them on my Blackberry, it just means that Apple has found another way to try and force me to buy their overpriced junk.

Honestly, I think Apple is worse than Microsoft in that they pretend to be warm and fuzzy while robbing you blind.
